I have been a Floridian for most of my life, born in Sarasota and raised in Bradenton. After graduating from USF St. Petersburg, I spent a couple of years in Indiana, where I was the night editor for the Kokomo Tribune and Logansport Pharos-Tribune (and where I learned what the different seasons actually feel like). I joined the Tampa Bay Times as a copy editor in May 2022. Now, on the breaking news team, my job is to help bring you stories that keep you and your family safe and informed. Outside of work, I’m usually reading, taking photos on an old film camera or learning a new embroidery stitch.
