Whether it is a wedding, anniversary, birthday, engagement, birth or any important event, Celebrations is your very own personal announcement that lets you share these special relationships or moments with others.
Immortalize these milestone moments in the Tampa Bay Times, or in Bay magazine – a glossy publication delivered to 40,000 affluent households in Tampa Bay 8 times per year.
Submission Deadline:
Text and optional photo along with completed form are due 10 days prior to Sunday publication in the Tampa Bay Times, and 30 days prior to publication in Bay magazine. Please email for Bay magazine publication dates.
Announcements in the Times or Bay can be placed online at tampabay.com/celebrations or submitted by mail. Mailing information is provided on the Celebrations order form.
Ad requirements:
Two Celebration announcement sizes are available for Bay magazine and two sizes are available for the Times (see samples and prices below.) The number of words will be determined by the size you choose and whether you opt to have a photo included. Suggested word count for a small ad with minimum size photo is 100 to 125. For a large size ad, 225 to 250 words. Add 25 to 35 more words if no photograph is included.
Please submit factual and accurate text with your order. A proof of your announcement will be provided for approval. The Tampa Bay Times reserves the right to revise, edit or reject any or all text and photographs deemed unsuitable for publication.

Small B&W Ad: 4.9” wide x 3” high $175
Small Color Ad: 4.9” wide x 3” high $200
Large B&W Ad: 4.9” wide x 5” high $199
Large Color Ad: 4.9” wide x 5” high $235
Photo Requirements:
- All Celebrations announcements may include a photo.
- We accept black and white and color photographs for reproduction, but publish in black and white.
- Please note when deciding on your announcement that submitted photos cannot be returned.
- Color and amateur photographs are acceptable; however, we do not reimburse for poor photo reproduction.
- Minimum size for photographs is 2 inches wide x 2 inches deep.
- For best reproduction, please submit professional photographs that contain a sharp focus with good contrast (Please note: photos taken with a soft lens appear softer in the paper and are, therefore, not recommended).
- Photos for Bay magazine must be high resolution. Please contact us with questions.
- We reserve the right to decline orders due to likelihood of poor image quality when published due to low resolution.
